The Wisdom of the Ant ( verse 6-8 )

If you pay attention to an ant, you will rarely find it crawling aimlessly and without a purpose. The best time to take note is when they are in a group. They look like soldiers marching on a mission. The weird thing is that the ant has no commander or ruler to direct them on how to operate. These insects collect its provisions in the summer and gathers food at harvest. That’s amazing! However, we humans sometimes portray the role of the sluggard; moving slow to get things done or even into action. Procrastination, yea I’m trying to get better at that myself! Generally, we don’t establish a purpose for why we’re doing certain things which ends up being a distraction and a waist of time. The ant on the other hand knows exactly what he’s doing and why. It’s time for me to bookmark ant websites..lol.

6 Things The Lord Hates and 7 that he Detest (verse 16:19)

1. Haughty Eyes – Looking down upon others. Just really being arrogant
2. Lying Tongue – I think that speaks for itself
3. Hands that shed innocent blood – Murderers
4. A heart that devises wicked schemes – Someone who is always plotting to do bad things to others
5. Feet that are quick to rush into evil – Self-explanatory
6. A False witness who pours out lies – In 2007, that’s practically the definition of a “hater”.
7. A Person who stirs up dissension in the community – Person causing problems consistently in your community or even in your home.

You WILL get caught buddy ! (verse 27-29)

“Can a man scoop fire into his lap without being burned?
Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched?
So is he who sleeps with another man’s wife;
no one who touches her will go unpunished.”

Just ponder on these verses…(verse 32-33)

“But a man who commits adultery has no sense; whoever does so destroys himself. Blows and disgrace are his lot, and his shame will never be wiped away.”

Verse 8 talks about keeping away from her “a path”, a distance; don’t even think about going by her door. Then if you do, everything that you have worked for years to get is gone and will be given to somebody else. I don’t know about you, but I’m not about to let another dude come and take everything that God gave to me. But Satan is doing it everyday…

Solomon goes on talking about not spreading your spring on the streets. Basically, keep your pants up and stop trying to be a playa with all these women. Find a wife, enjoy her for the rest of your life, and live life with wisdom. These other brads don’t have anything for you but hell.

Now verse 20, going hard because this is happening everyday in this world. “Why, my son, be intoxicated with another man’s wife? Why embrace the bosom of a wayward woman?” The word wayward there means to turn away from what is right or proper. Dude, the same way she left her husband, is the same way she’s going to leave you because she’s WAYWARD. The sad part is that most guys just want to play around anyway so they don’t care if she’s using him or not. They just want to get the drawls and be out.

I’m gone finish with the last verse:23,

For lack of discipline they will die, led astray by their own great folly (or foolishness).
